Our heroine's best friend in first grade was Sherrie Dye, they were in love with the same boy and didn't care. In her spare time she posts on a blog that no one reads(well almost no one) and if her house was on fire she would grab family pictures. Guesses?
So, let me see. This weeks heroine's favorite cookies are peanut butter blossoms (that's a peanut butter cookie with a hershy kiss in the middle. She has three older sisters and two younger brothers and her bucketplace to visit is Hawaii. Guesses anyone?
This is Kenny doing what he loved to do at recess in elementary school. His best friend was Kyle Kilpatrick (I don't know if he is in this picture or not). When he is not running, which I suspect is a huge amount of the time, you can find him on the computer. Good stuff Kenny!
This week's hero last saw Transformers 2, loves fast break candy bars and their favorite family tradition is getting a good breakfast during STAR testing! Oh, I wonder, wonder who . . .
Remember to serve someone today. It will make you feel good, it will make your Father in Heaven happy and it will give us something to talk about tomorrow! Don't let me forget!
Here is Haley's dream car. Her favorite family tradition is eating cheescake (I'm hoping you include me in this!) And she loves, loves, loves double chocolate chip cookies. I'm getting hungry!
Haley thinks it would be cool to serve a mission in Spain, she can't miss Project Runway and her favorite primary song is "popcorn popping". Let's sing it on Friday!
Have you ever "wrestled" with spiritual things? Have you ever "hungered" to know where you stand? Really, so did Enos! We're going to talk about all this on Monday--you don't want to miss!
Sugar (loves salt water taffy) and spice (best subject is chemistry) and everything nice (friends would describe as funny) that's what this week's hero is made of!
He loves enchilada's, the last movie he saw was Transformers 2 and his dream car is a 1977 Pinto (That's the year I graduated from high school, does that make me a classic too?) I thought his response to the "what would you grab if your house was on fire" was the best. Tanner said he would grab a fire extinguisher--GOOOD THINKING!
Jacob 5 is an allegory about an olive tree. We're going to talk about that tomorrow --read the block if you have a chance and come with questions--we'll figure it out together.
How are the scriptures like eye glasses? Let's talk about it tomorrow--I am excited to SEE what you come up with.
More Tanner stuff-- and good stuff it is! His favorite TV show is Rob and Big--I'm not going to lie to you I've watched it myself and I've tried to teach my cat to ride a skateboard--frustrating for both me and the cat! His favorite candy is Reeses and his favorite thing about seminary is(no pressure Greg) donuts on Friday!
This week's hero loves hippos and would like to serve a mission in Antartica (probably won't see too many hippos there). They can't remember who their best friend was in first grade but their friends now would describe them as "chill".
Our new hero is into black and white. Favorite cookie is an oreo, the colors they wear the most is black and white and their favorite primary song is . . . you guessed it "Snowman" mostly white with black coal buttons! Who is it?
Happy New Year! A new year, a new start. What are your goals for the new year? I want to exercise more, spend more time with my prayers and be a better seminary teacher. The Lord likes us to set worthy goals and then work on them. He knew perfection wouldn't come fast or easy. So, if you haven't made any new goals yet--there's still time. Need some suggestions? How about singing with Sister Johansson in seminary! It was worth a shot!
quote of the day
Courage doesn’t always roar—sometimes it quietly says I will try again tomorrow.
